Sep 23, 2022| In the label die-cutting process, often encounter many failure problems, such as with the label, label edge burrs, the rubber layer is not completely cut off, cut marks are too deep, die-cutting blade sticky glue, broken waste, etc., if not dealt with in a timely manner, will inevitably directly affect the label processing of the subsequent processes, and even eventually lead to bad label products, facing the risk of being returned.
To this end, Yucai will be based on years of visits to major label printing enterprises to accumulate maintenance experience, combing in the label die-cutting process of several common die-cutting glitches and troubleshooting methods.

There are many factors that affect the die-cutting tape label, the more common factors are mainly the following:
(1) Material problems, uneven thickness of the backing paper, the surface peeling force is too small;
(2) The rubber layer is thicker, die-cutting after a long distance before pulling up the waste, the rubber layer back to stick;
(3) Die-cutting go paper direction and waste angle is not reasonable (waste angle does not apply to each material);
(4) Die-cutting knife blade is not sharp enough, not completely cut material or adhesive layer;
(5) Die-cutting knife flatness is not enough, or knife line edge damage appears small gap;
(6) The choice of die-cutting knife edge angle and the use of materials do not match, film, paper edge angle should be different;
(7) The use of flexible blades, magnetic roller processing accuracy problems (low pass rate) resulting in large tolerances on the diameter of the magnetic surface;
(8) Magnetic roller wear, bottom roller wear, bottom roller processing accuracy problems (bottom roller middle section smaller than the diameter of the two ends);
(9) Wide machine printing width, magnetic roller, bottom roller diameter is small, the pressurized roller deformation;
(10) Low-speed and high-speed production, the machine side plate stability is poor, the machine generated vibration;
(11) Magnetic roller, bottom roller jumping (roller shaft head and the roller is not the center, shaft wear, bearing wear, etc.).

Exclusion methods are as follows
(1) The choice of quality assurance materials, if you can not replace the material because of the price, it is necessary to make sacrifices on the cut marks, fish and bear's paw can not be both.
(2) Reduce the length of the paper path after the waste discharge, many hot glue and glue layer thicker materials need to be straight row in order to minimize the possibility of labeling, so as to avoid back sticky situation.
(3) Try to choose the angle of the waste discharge and go in the opposite direction of the paper in the direction of the large angle of the waste discharge, and the thinner the peeling waste edge rollers the better.
(4) As far as possible to choose the edge of the high hardness of the die-cutting tool, to avoid the blade die-cutting film, synthetic paper materials when the tip wear too fast, can not completely cut off (change the pressure off) the specified material layer and produce the label phenomenon.
(5) If the die-cutting fixed position with the standard, the need to detect the corresponding position of the knife blade whether the edge damage phenomenon, if the magnetic blade, you can do 180 ° turn the direction of the blade to determine whether the bad location of waste discharge with the blade corresponding change.
(6) According to the material category to choose a different blade angle, film, laminate and very tough materials, are required to choose a small angle blade to die cutting, (small angle larger tool life is shorter).
(7) Due to the price and processing technology issues, imported blades in flatness and durability than domestic tools are much better, if the order quality requirements are very high, more concerned about the problem of cut marks, should try to use imported tools (the author's subsequent article will share in detail the differences between imported and domestic tools).
(8) Whether the magnetic roller or knife roller, or the diameter of the bottom roller is too small, there will be pressurized material against the knife edge to make it appear slightly deformed risk, especially the knife blade wear, the width of the printing press is large, the roller is too thin, it is very easy to appear at both ends can cut the material and the middle of the hairy edge or with a label. This is a very easy to be ignored by the operator, should pay attention to the problem.
(9) Machine vibration and roller jumping generated with the standard problem, you need to find a professional machine supplier or ask the engineer of the die-cutting tool supplier to measure, to exclude the roller shaft wear, bearing wear, shaft roller different center and other invisible factors.
